Notes: Bright aromas of cherry and raspberry lead to soft tannins with a hint of American oak on this savory, yet refreshing red wine. Estate blend of 60% Sangiovese, 30% Syrah, and 10% Dolcetto create this delightful medium bodied red wine.

2016 Dolcetto, Solano County/Green Valley
Notes: Currently, there are approximately 100 acres planted of the Dolcetto grape in California. Our estate Dolcetto has a rich dark purple hue that is characteristic of the varietal. This traditional Piedmont-style Dolcetto has a pleasantly smooth finish that accentuates the dark fruit flavors. In Italian, “dolce” can mean “soft” or “sweet”. This Dolcetto is a dry, yet fruit-forward wine, with soft tannins to make this ready to enjoy now.

Notes: This limited release is our winemaker's take on our classic Super Tuscan blend. Cherry notes accented by the soft earthiness of our Sangiovese; our Cabernet adds tannins and structure, Merlot rounds it our with a silky, medium bodied finish touched with a hint of sweetness from Dolcetto.

Notes: Our Winemaker’s Cabernet Sauvignon blend of three vintages of our estate grapes, 2016, 2017 and 2018, created a multi-layered powerful Cabernet. Each vintage added its own characteristics. Fresh and lively acidity from 2018, a complex mid-palate from the 2017 and a rich cacao finish from the 2016. Each wine having been in barrel since their fermentation results in this blend’s unique characteristics.
