2014 Old Vine Zinfandel, Solano County Green Valley

Tasting notes: Hand picked from vines planted in 1948, this dry farmed Zinfandel has complex aromas and flavors of blackberries and plums. Aged for 18 months in French Oak puncheons, this wine has a subtle nuance of oak that does not overpower its naturally elegant dark fruit bouquet. This deep zinfandel is our only dry farmed wine - simply a must have for every wine lover. Pairs well with a rosemary BBQ lamb or a peppered steak with Roquefort butter.
